The firm built to stand up for workers.

Steenland Law represents Western Pennsylvania employees whose workplace rights were violated — not the firm they could afford, but one that fights as hard as they did.

Our Story

Fighting for Fairness, One Client at a Time

Kyle Steenland was raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania, in a family of small business owners. Throughout his entire life, he was raised on principles of fairness, accountability, and under the idea an employer has a duty to take care of its employees. And in doing so, its employees will take care of the business.

Upon moving to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for law school, Kyle began to see how employers broke that promise, mistreated people, and were seldom held accountable for their actions. Many of these victims were never aware they had legal rights to protect them. And their employer violated the law without consequence.

Seeing these injustices, Kyle has spent his career in the private sector working at law firms that represented victims of discrimination, harassment, and predatory business practices. In 2025, Kyle founded his legal practice with one mission in mind: to stand up for employees and hold employers accountable when they break the law.

Steenland Law is a boutique practice that represents individuals in almost exclusively three areas of the law: employment law claims; unemployment compensation benefits; and consumer claims arising from deceptive business practices. It's this smaller caseload that ensures Steenland Law works with each client individually and can deliver zealous and sophisticated legal services.
